Actron Industries, Inc. is expanding its beverage and dairy packaging capabilities through a new partnership with SIG, as demand for ready-to-drink beverages and dairy products continues to rise in the Philippines.

The Filipino food solutions company will install SIG’s advanced Midi 12 Aseptic filling line at its manufacturing facility in Calamba, with commercial operations expected to begin by the end of the second quarter of 2026.

The new aseptic carton filling system will enable Actron to process a wider range of products on a single high-performance production line, including ready-to-drink juices, teas, dairy beverages, cooking creams, and all-purpose cream. The investment is aimed at helping local food and beverage brands accelerate product innovation while improving packaging flexibility and operational efficiency.

SIG’s Midi 12 Aseptic system can fill up to 12,000 aseptic cartons per hour and supports multiple carton formats and sizes ranging from 500ml to 1,000ml. The technology also allows quick format changeovers within minutes, enabling manufacturers to respond faster to evolving consumer demand and product launches.

According to Noer Wellington, the partnership brings flexible aseptic packaging technology closer to the Philippine dairy and juice industry, helping manufacturers scale production and introduce new packaging formats more efficiently.

Mannito C. Dueñas said the investment strengthens Actron’s role as a co-packing partner for local brands by enhancing production scale, agility, and innovation capabilities.

Meanwhile, Nicolas Tan noted growing regional demand for scalable and flexible packaging systems, especially among emerging food and beverage brands seeking faster product rollouts.

The collaboration highlights the increasing adoption of advanced food manufacturing and packaging technologies in the Philippines as companies respond to shifting consumer preferences and rising demand for convenient ready-to-drink products.
