Eastern Communications earned multiple recognitions at the 2026 Marketing Excellence Awards and Marketing Event Awards for initiatives that combine technology, digital inclusion, and customer experience.

The telecommunications and ICT solutions provider received a Bronze Award for Excellence in CSR / Cause Marketing at the 2026 Marketing Excellence Awards for its initiative, “Uplifting Far-Flung Schools & Communities in the Philippines through Satellite Internet.”

Through Project Maaasahan, Eastern Communications partnered with Unconnected.org, the Department of Education, and local government units to deploy satellite-powered internet and Maaasahan Kits to public schools in geographically isolated communities.

The first phase connected 10 public schools across 10 provinces, benefiting 2,785 students and 155 teachers while creating connectivity opportunities for more than 29,500 residents in surrounding communities. The schools also serve as free community Wi-Fi hubs.

Eastern also received a Silver Award for Best Event: <100 Attendees at the 2026 Marketing Event Awards in Singapore for its “Redefining Customer Experience Through Eastern Communications’ Titanium Tier Launch.”

Held at the Metropolitan Museum of Manila, the event introduced Titanium, the newest tier of Eastern’s Link VIP Club loyalty program. The company used original artworks to present the tier’s benefits, combining technology, art, culture, and customer engagement.

The awards highlight Eastern Communications’ “High Tech, High Touch” approach, which combines connectivity and ICT solutions with personalized customer experiences and community-focused initiatives.

“For us, these recognitions go beyond individual campaigns,” said Jurelyn San Antonio, Campaign Management Manager. She added that the initiatives reflect the company’s shift toward creating experiences that demonstrate the value of meaningful connections.
