EastWest is eliminating InstaPay transfer fees for customers using its EasyWay and Komo digital banking platforms, making online fund transfers more affordable and accessible.
Starting July 15, 2026, individual clients can send money via InstaPay through EasyWay and Komo without paying transfer fees. PESONet transfers will also remain free for all EastWest customers.
The move supports the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas’ initiative to accelerate the adoption of inclusive digital payments and encourage greater use of digital banking services across the country.

According to EastWest CEO Jerry G. Ngo, the fee waiver is intended to make everyday banking more convenient by giving customers more secure and cost-effective ways to transfer funds through the bank’s digital platforms.
The latest initiative reinforces EastWest’s focus on enhancing its digital banking ecosystem by reducing transaction costs and promoting cashless financial services.
