Maya, the Philippines’ leading digital financial services platform, earned two major recognitions at the PR Awards Asia-Pacific 2026, highlighting the impact of its technology-driven financial products and digital engagement campaigns.
Maya received the Gold award in the Best Brand Collaboration category for its “Save a Housemate. Save with Maya” campaign, which transformed fan participation in the popular reality show Pinoy Big Brother through a digital savings-based voting mechanism.

The campaign replaced the traditional SMS voting system with Maya’s in-app “Save-to-Vote” feature, requiring users to first deposit funds into their Maya accounts before casting votes for their favorite housemates. By integrating financial transactions into the voting experience, Maya encouraged saving habits while driving strong user engagement.

Maya also won Silver in the Consumer Launch category for its “Welcome to Maya Black” campaign, which introduced the Maya Black Visa Platinum credit card. The card leverages an AI-driven underwriting framework and a fully digital application process, enabling more Filipinos—including those underserved by conventional credit assessment models—to access premium credit services.
The campaign gained attention through a multi-platform launch strategy, including a black-and-white brand film and a synchronized “Blackout” marketing takeover. It was also shortlisted in the PR Event category.
According to Maya Group Chief Marketing Officer Pepe Torres, the awards recognize the company’s focus on creating products and campaigns that address real customer needs while delivering measurable impact.
The latest wins mark Maya’s fourth consecutive year of recognition at the PR Awards Asia-Pacific, organized by Campaign Asia, which celebrates excellence in public relations, brand communications, storytelling, and innovation across the region.
