Filipinos traveling abroad this holiday season can save on mobile connectivity with Smart Travē, Smart’s travel eSIM app offering data packs across more than 100 destinations worldwide.
The travel connectivity service is offering discounts of up to 40% on selected eSIM data packages. The 3GB pack is now available for US$5.75, down from US$10, while the 10GB pack costs US$12, reduced from US$20. A 1GB pack is also available for US$3 for travelers with lighter data requirements.
As a Smart-backed travel eSIM service, Smart Travē combines international connectivity with access to Smart’s local customer support. Users traveling abroad can contact the Smart hotline if they need assistance while overseas.
eSIM connectivity without a physical SIM
Through the Smart Travē app, travelers can select their destination, choose a data package, purchase it, and activate the eSIM on a compatible device. This eliminates the need to purchase a physical SIM card upon arrival or rely primarily on public Wi-Fi.
Mobile data can be used for navigation, ride-hailing, travel updates, digital boarding passes, hotel reservations, translation tools, messaging, and other travel-related services.
