Taptap Send has partnered with GoTyme Bank and Cebu Pacific for its “It’s Tyme to Come Home” Christmas campaign, combining digital remittances with a chance for overseas Filipinos to return home for the holidays.
The campaign highlights the challenges faced by Filipinos working abroad during the Christmas season, when rising travel costs, workplace demands and family expenses can make returning to the Philippines difficult.
At the center of the campaign is a four-part short film series following an overseas Filipino professional navigating the financial and emotional realities of spending Christmas away from home. The series was conceptualized and produced by an all-Filipino creative team made up of Overseas Filipinos.
The homecoming promotion runs from September 16 to November 30, 2026. Eligible users can participate by sending at least ₱5,000, or its foreign-currency equivalent, through Taptap Send to a GoTyme Bank account. Entries are unlimited.
Grand prizes include two round-trip economy flights to the Philippines, airport-to-hometown transfers, a family salu-salo and ₱20,000 in cash. Winners are expected to be announced in the second week of December.
Taptap Send enables Filipinos in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Europe, Australia, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain to send remittances to the Philippines. The company said eligible bank and mobile wallet transfers to the Philippines carry no transfer fee, although foreign exchange rates apply.
The campaign uses digital remittance technology as a way to help overseas Filipinos support their families financially while creating an opportunity for some to reunite with loved ones during the Christmas season.
