Rakuten Viki is bringing back its annual K-Drama Day from September 25 to October 1, giving K-drama fans across Southeast Asia and other markets access to free content, fan-driven activities, exclusive interviews and prizes.
As part of the celebration, fans in Southeast Asia can vote from September 14 to 21 for the K-drama they want featured on digital billboards in select international markets. The winning series will be announced on September 25.
From September 25 to October 1, 10 K-dramas will be available to watch for free without a paid subscription in select regions. The lineup includes Spirit Fingers, To My Beloved Thief, Positively Yours, IDOL I, Last Summer, Love Me, Ms. Incognito, A Bona Fide Killer, First Lady, and The Scarecrow.
Viki is also offering exclusive K-entertainment content, including interviews with directors Yoon Jong Ho of A Bona Fide Killer and So Jaehyun of Dive into You, as well as appearances and video content featuring Korean actors. Fans can also join contests featuring signed memorabilia from stars of Viki series.
The celebration will extend through partnerships with Agoda, LG and WEBTOON. LG TV users in participating markets, including the Philippines, can receive a one-month free trial of Viki Pass Standard through October 13.
Viki can be accessed through desktop, mobile devices, streaming devices and connected TVs, with free ad-supported viewing and paid Viki Pass options available.
