Indonesian interior solutions provider VIVERE Group has selected Rimini Support for SAP to maintain business continuity, strengthen support for its SAP ECC environment, and free internal IT resources for digital transformation initiatives.
The company, through its core entity PT Gema Graham Sarana Tbk, runs SAP ECC 6 on IBM Db2 across project-based operations, manufacturing, and distribution. With SAP ECC support deadlines approaching and an expected migration to S/4HANA, VIVERE evaluated its technology roadmap with Gartner before deciding to prioritize innovation over a costly and disruptive ERP upgrade.
By adopting Rimini Street’s third-party SAP support, VIVERE aims to reduce support costs while maintaining its existing SAP environment and gaining access to specialized technical expertise. The approach allows its internal IT team to redirect resources from SAP maintenance and troubleshooting toward process improvements, integration, and broader digital transformation projects.
According to VIVERE Group Head of IT Sutrisno Yao, the company’s technology strategy focuses on maintaining reliable operations and business continuity while using technology to improve processes without unnecessary disruption.
The partnership reflects a growing enterprise technology strategy in which organizations extend the useful life of existing ERP platforms while redirecting IT budgets and talent toward modernization initiatives.
Rimini Street said its support model can help organizations lower operating costs and create additional capacity for innovation without immediately undertaking a major ERP migration.
