Acer Inc. has reinforced its push toward AI-powered education following the successful conclusion of the Acer Edu Summit Asia Pacific 2026 in Jakarta on April 22–23. Centered on the theme “Future-Ready Learning: AI, Innovation, and Human-Centered Education,” the event gathered stakeholders from across the region to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence in classrooms.

Delegations from 12 Asia-Pacific markets—including the Philippines, South Korea, and Australia—participated in the summit, positioning Indonesia as a growing hub in Acer’s regional digital education ecosystem. The event facilitated cross-sector collaboration among educators, policymakers, and industry leaders, focusing on practical AI applications to improve learning outcomes.

Acer emphasized a human-centered approach to innovation, highlighting how AI can enhance—not replace—educators. Discussions covered key areas such as personalized learning, digital literacy development, and the evolving role of teachers in AI-enabled environments.

A major highlight was the participation of the MIT Media Lab, which introduced its Learning Foundry for AI and Robotics (FAIR). Experts demonstrated how AI-driven platforms can deliver scalable, personalized education while equipping students to tackle real-world challenges, including urban issues.

Industry partner Altos Computing showcased its full-stack AI infrastructure, including high-performance servers and AI workstations designed to support institutional deployment. Its platforms aim to simplify the AI lifecycle—from resource management to autonomous agent deployment—bridging gaps in educational technology implementation.

On the hardware front, Acer unveiled its latest AI-enabled Copilot+ PCs powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors. Devices such as the TravelMate P4 Spin 14 AI and TravelMate P2 AI series are designed for modern classrooms, offering mobility, interactivity, and long battery life to support flexible learning environments.

The summit underscores Acer’s broader strategy to integrate AI into education systems across Asia-Pacific, promoting inclusive, adaptive, and future-ready learning ecosystems through collaboration between technology providers, academia, and government sectors.
