AIA Philippines and BPI AIA have reinforced their leadership in the Philippine insurance industry after recording a combined 458 Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) qualifiers in 2026—the highest in the country—while also securing spots among the world’s Top 100 MDRT companies.
The milestone highlights not only the companies’ strong financial advisor network but also their growing investment in technology-driven learning and professional development, including the use of artificial intelligence to enhance advisor performance.
MDRT, recognized as the Premier Association of Financial Professionals®, sets one of the highest global standards in the life insurance and financial services industry. Members must meet strict requirements for premium production, commissions, ethical conduct, professional expertise, and customer service.
According to Melita Teo, Chief Executive Officer of AIA Philippines, the achievement reflects the dedication of the company’s financial advisors and its continued investment in innovation.
AIA Philippines has introduced AI Roleplay, an AI-powered training tool designed to help financial advisors sharpen client engagement skills through realistic practice scenarios. The technology complements the company’s broader training and capability-building programs, enabling advisors to deliver more personalized financial guidance.
In 2026, AIA Philippines recorded 184 MDRT qualifiers, representing a 26% increase from the previous year, while BPI AIA posted 274 MDRT qualifiers, maintaining its position as the country’s leading bancassurance company based on MDRT qualifiers.
The companies said their continued investments in talent recruitment, digital tools, professional development, and advisor training are helping financial professionals better address the evolving needs of Filipino customers.
The achievement also contributes to the broader success of AIA Group, which was recognized as the world’s number one MDRT multinational company for the 12th consecutive year. The recognition reflects the group’s continued investment in technology, training, and advisor support across its markets in Asia.
As demand grows for trusted financial advice, AIA Philippines and BPI AIA said they will continue expanding the use of innovative technologies and learning platforms to strengthen advisor capabilities and improve customer experience.
