Nissan Philippines has launched the All-New Nissan Kicks e-POWER, bringing a new generation of its electrified subcompact SUV to Filipino motorists with enhanced electric motor-driven performance, connectivity, safety, and driver-assistance technologies.
First introduced in the Philippines in 2022, the Nissan Kicks pioneered Nissan’s e-POWER technology in the local subcompact crossover segment. The new model builds on that platform with updated technology and design aimed at delivering a more connected and responsive driving experience.
e-POWER delivers electric motor-driven performance
At the core of the All-New Nissan Kicks is Nissan e-POWER, which provides a 100% electric motor-driven experience with 136 PS and 280 Nm of torque.
Unlike a conventional hybrid system, the gasoline engine does not directly drive the wheels. Instead, its 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine generates electricity to charge the battery, while the electric motor powers the wheels.
The self-charging setup is designed to deliver the responsive acceleration associated with electric vehicles without requiring drivers to change their usual refueling routine.
Connected cabin for everyday driving
The Kicks features Nissan Zero Gravity seats, anti-heat leather upholstery, an optimized rear seatback angle, and a rear armrest. The driver also gets a 6-way power-adjustable seat.
Technology is highlighted by a 12.3-inch Display Audio system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. NissanConnect Services, included with a three-year subscription, adds connected features for drivers.
Updated design and lighting
The All-New Kicks receives a redesigned exterior featuring Nissan’s V-Motion grille and a new lighting signature with triple-arrow Daytime Running Lights.
At the rear, hexagon-shaped lamps provide a distinctive visual identity, while improved headlights deliver wider and longer illumination to enhance visibility in low-light conditions.
ProPILOT leads expanded safety technology
The Kicks also introduces Nissan ProPILOT, an advanced driver-assistance system designed to reduce driving stress during highway travel and longer journeys.
ProPILOT assists with steering, acceleration, and braking through technologies such as Intelligent Lane Keep Assist and Intelligent Cruise Control. Its Traffic Jam Assist can also stop and resume the vehicle in changing traffic conditions.
The vehicle is equipped with additional safety and driver-assistance technologies, including:
- Leading Car Departure Notification (LCDN)
- Intelligent Forward Collision Warning (IFCW)
- Intelligent Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection (IFEB)
- Blind Spot Warning with Blind Spot Intervention (BSW + BSI)
- Lane Departure Warning with Lane Departure Prevention (LDW + LDP)
- Rear Automatic Emergency Braking (RAEB)
- Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
- Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA)
- Intelligent Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection (IAVM + MOD)
- High Beam Assist (HBA)
- Driver Attention Alert (DAA)
The launch expands Nissan Philippines’ electrified vehicle lineup, joining the Nissan X-Trail e-POWER in bringing the company’s e-POWER technology to more Filipino motorists.

Three variants available
The All-New Nissan Kicks e-POWER is offered in three variants, with launch promo prices available until September 30, 2026:

The SUV is available in Aquamarine Metallic, Gun Metallic, Pearl White, and Moon Pearl Gray. The LE Plus is also offered with a Black Roof, while its interior features a Moonstone combination; the VE and VL come with Black interiors.
Customers can also receive a complimentary one-year Nissan Protect+ package, covering prepaid maintenance with genuine Nissan oil and parts and expert servicing.
Alongside the new Kicks, Nissan showcased Kicks by Quiccs, a creative interpretation of the nameplate by Filipino contemporary artist Quiccs.
The All-New Nissan Kicks e-POWER is now open for reservations through Nissan dealerships nationwide and online. The Nissan Intelligent Mobility Tour will also run from August 28 to 30 at the Glorietta Palm Drive Activity Center, where visitors can explore Nissan models and participate in test-drive activities.
