Boomi, a global data activation and integration company, has helped New Zealand-based infrastructure provider Citycare Property modernize its human resources operations by unifying employee data across HR, payroll, and IT systems—resulting in faster onboarding, improved data quality, and higher employee satisfaction.

Citycare Property, which delivers essential social infrastructure services across New Zealand, implemented a new Human Resources Information System (HRIS) but faced challenges in synchronizing employee data across multiple platforms. To address this, the company partnered with Boomi and its implementation partner Adaptiv to build a connected, centralized workforce data environment.

At the core of the solution is the Boomi Enterprise Platform, including its Data Hub and integration capabilities, which established a single source of truth for employee records. This enables real-time synchronization of onboarding, role changes, and offboarding processes across all systems without manual intervention.

According to Citycare Property CIO Adam Doocey, onboarding processes that previously took days were significantly reduced, with improved visibility across employee lifecycle stages and stronger data reliability across downstream systems. Manual workarounds that previously addressed system inconsistencies have now been eliminated.

Adaptiv, the systems integration partner, emphasized that the Boomi platform allowed the organization to embed flexibility into its architecture, enabling future systems to be added with minimal redevelopment while maintaining a unified employee-centric data model.

Boomi CTO for APJ, David Irecki, highlighted that placing employees at the center of integration strategies delivers measurable operational improvements across organizations, reinforcing Boomi’s role in enabling scalable workforce modernization.

Overall, the deployment underscores a growing enterprise trend: using integration platforms to streamline HR operations, improve data governance, and support scalable digital workforce infrastructure.
