BYD Cars Philippines, under ACMobility, has donated ₱770,000 to the Healthway Foundation Cancer Care Hope Fund following the success of its limited-edition BYD Seagull in Seashell Pink campaign.

Bob Palanca, Managing Director of BYD Cars Philippines, and Jef Peeters, President & CEO of Healthway Medical Network, during the official turnover of ₱770,000 to the Healthway Foundation’s Cancer Care Hope Fund—highlighting a shared commitment to sustainable mobility and compassionate healthcare support for Filipino cancer patients.

The donation turnover ceremony was held on April 14, 2026, at the Healthway Cancer Care Hospital, the country’s first dedicated specialty cancer care facility.

Launched in July 2025, the campaign aimed to combine sustainable mobility with social impact by supporting Filipino cancer patients and their families. Originally targeting 70 vehicle sales by year-end, the initiative exceeded expectations with 77 units sold.

According to BYD Cars Philippines Managing Director Bob Palanca, the campaign reflects ACMobility’s commitment to “malasakit” by creating meaningful community impact beyond transportation.

The proceeds will support the Cancer Care Hope Fund, which helps reduce the financial burden of cancer treatment and expands patient access to quality healthcare services. Healthway Medical Network President and CEO Jef Peeters said the partnership enables more compassionate and patient-centered care for Filipino patients.

The initiative highlights how electric vehicle brands are increasingly aligning technology and sustainability efforts with healthcare and social responsibility programs in the Philippines.
