The Life Underwriters Association of the Philippines (LUAP) recognized the country’s top-performing financial advisors during the Philippine Life Insurance Advisors Awards (PHILIAA) 2026 held at the Blue Leaf Cosmopolitan in Quezon City.
Led by LUAP President Christine Manalaysay and PHILIAA Chair Lesley Anne Perez, the event highlighted the organization’s ongoing efforts to professionalize the Philippine life insurance industry and strengthen financial literacy and protection among Filipinos.
The ceremony was also attended by Reynaldo Regalado, who supported the recognition of excellence in the financial advisory sector.
A major highlight of the evening was the recognition of Cherrie Anne Briñas of InLife as the Top 1 Gintong Kalasag Awardee, making her the top financial advisor in the Philippines for 2026.
The PHILIAA also honored advisors from major insurance companies including AIA Philippines, Allianz PNB Life, AXA Philippines, Cocolife, FWD, Pru Life UK, Sun Life Grepa Financial Inc, and Sun Life of Canada (Phils.) Inc..
Awards were given under three major categories: Gintong Kalasag, Asian Circle of Excellence (ACE) Awards, and Elite Awardees, recognizing outstanding contributions in financial advisory services and client protection.
LUAP emphasized that the awards reflect the growing importance of highly skilled financial advisors in helping Filipinos achieve long-term financial security and resilience.
