For lab manager Elgie Rañosa of Legazpi City, internet connectivity has become an essential part of life beyond the workplace—from communicating with patients to helping her grandchildren with school projects and staying updated online.
After experiencing frequent connection issues with her previous provider, Rañosa switched to Converge Super FiberX, which combines fiber broadband with entertainment features. She said the service allows her to quickly connect her phone at home and use Messenger to communicate with patients without relying on mobile data.
Super FiberX combines high-speed fiber internet with Wi-Fi 6 technology, SkyTV access, and the Google-certified Android TV-based Xperience Hub. Plans offer speeds ranging from up to 200 Mbps to 1 Gbps, supporting multiple household activities such as video streaming, online communication, schoolwork, and browsing.
For Rañosa’s household, the technology supports different digital needs throughout the day. The same home connection can be used for work-related communication, online learning, and entertainment, helping the family stay connected across multiple devices.
The experience comes as Converge reports strong network performance based on Ookla’s Speedtest Intelligence results for the first half of 2026. Based on consumer-initiated tests from January through June, Converge received Ookla recognitions for Best Internet, Fastest Internet, and Best Fixed Latency in the Philippines.
The results highlight how broadband performance—particularly speed and latency—can affect everyday digital activities as households increasingly depend on internet connectivity for work, education, communication, and entertainment.
