Acer has unveiled the Googlebook 14, a new convertible laptop designed around Gemini Intelligence and the Googlebook OS, bringing AI-assisted workflows and Android phone integration to a premium laptop form factor.
The device is positioned as Acer’s entry into a new category of AI-ready laptops, with Gemini integrated into everyday computing tasks. Features such as Continue On let users pick up tasks started on an Android phone, while Cast My Apps provides access to Android phone apps directly from the laptop without separate installation. Context-aware features are also designed to provide proactive suggestions based on what users are doing on screen.
For local AI processing, the Googlebook 14 can be configured with an Intel Core Ultra 7 355 processor featuring an NPU rated at up to 50 TOPS, along with up to 32GB of LPDDR5X memory and 512GB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe storage. Acer rates battery life at up to 16 hours under web-browsing tests.
The laptop also combines AI capabilities with a 14-inch 3K OLED touchscreen, 360-degree convertible design, USI 2.0 stylus support, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0 and Thunderbolt 4 connectivity. It weighs 1.14kg and measures 13.9mm thin.
Acer is bundling 12 months of Google AI Pro with the Googlebook 14, giving users expanded access to Gemini features, Flow, Gemini Notebook and Gemini within Google apps, plus 5TB of cloud storage.
The Acer Googlebook 14 (GP714-91N) is scheduled to become available in North America and EMEA in October 2026, with pricing starting at US$899 and €1,199, respectively. Regional pricing and availability may vary.
