Converge ICT highlighted the role of digital connectivity in fostering inclusion and community during Pride Month through “Pride is in Your Fiber,” a special live recording of The XLounge Podcast held at Halyxon Club in Poblacion.
The event featured RuPaul’s Drag Race Philippines queens Arizona Brandy, Myx Chanel, and Hana Beshie, who shared personal stories about identity, resilience, and how digital platforms have helped LGBTQIA+ individuals find visibility, support, and community.
Hosted by Aiyana Perlas, the podcast explored the impact of online spaces in empowering self-expression and creating safe communities long before drag culture gained mainstream recognition in the Philippines. The discussion underscored how technology and social platforms continue to serve as important tools for connection, representation, and career growth.
Following the live recording, attendees enjoyed a full Drag Xperience featuring performances from the guest queens and Halyxon’s Kings and Queens. The event showcased drag as a powerful form of storytelling and self-expression while reinforcing themes of diversity, authenticity, and belonging.
