MediCard Philippines has strengthened its digital healthcare offerings with the enhanced Livewell Lifestyle Management Program, a technology-enabled wellness initiative powered by the AMPED app developed in partnership with Singapore-based health technology company Amplify Health.
The program is designed to help MediCard members manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease through personalized, data-driven care. Accessible through the AMPED app, users can connect with doctors, nutritionists, and health coaches via video consultations and unlimited text-based support.
The platform integrates several digital health features, including AI-powered meal logging, food ratings, activity and sleep tracking, personalized health goals, and real-time monitoring of biomarker trends and weight progress. These tools aim to simplify long-term health management while providing users with actionable insights to support healthier lifestyle choices.
According to MediCard CEO Julian Mengual, Livewell delivers timely and personalized support that helps members achieve their health goals through a more seamless and accessible care experience.
The program combines technology with human expertise, offering members access to Philippine-based coaches trained in lifestyle management who can provide guidance in both English and Tagalog. Registered dietitians and medical professionals work closely with participants to establish clear health milestones and monitor progress over time.
Livewell participants receive passport stamps at one of the wellness checkpoints during the Livewell Expedition, an immersive health journey designed to promote healthier lifestyles through personalized care, digital health tools, and expert guidance. The activity forms part of MediCard’s enhanced Livewell Lifestyle Management Program, powered by the AMPED app.
