foodpanda Philippines has launched a Libreng Sakay program under its Panda-Malasakit Project, providing free jeepney rides to commuters across key Metro Manila routes as part of its community support efforts.
Starting May 29 and running until June 11, four foodpanda-branded pink jeepneys are offering free transportation during peak hours along major routes, including SM Fairview-Cubao, Monumento-Baclaran, and Alabang-Mall of Asia.
The initiative aims to help Filipinos cope with rising transportation and living costs by reducing daily commuting expenses. Passengers may also receive surprise treats and enjoy special onboard activities designed to make their journeys more enjoyable.
Beyond assisting commuters, the program also provides support to participating jeepney drivers through fuel assistance and grocery aid, helping them manage operational and household expenses.
The Libreng Sakay activation is part of foodpanda’s broader Panda-Malasakit Project, a community-focused campaign that delivers practical support through on-ground initiatives and programs aimed at addressing everyday challenges faced by Filipinos.
