Globe has introduced a new WiFi-on-demand service through a partnership with GrabMart, enabling customers to order GFiber Prepaid directly from the Grab app and receive installation in as fast as two hours, subject to serviceability.
The initiative marks the launch of what Globe describes as the Philippines’ first “order-and-install” fiber internet model, designed to make home connectivity more accessible and convenient. Customers can purchase the ₱699 GFiber Prepaid package, which includes free installation and seven days of unlimited internet with speeds of up to 300 Mbps.
GFiber Prepaid supports up to 15 connected devices simultaneously, catering to households with multiple users for work, study, gaming, and streaming. The service also offers a flexible, reloadable internet option with no document requirements.
The pilot rollout starts in Pasig City, with planned expansion to selected areas in Metro Manila as well as key cities in the Visayas and Mindanao. Globe said the partnership aims to bridge connectivity gaps and provide faster access to reliable fiber internet for more Filipino households.
By integrating GFiber Prepaid into GrabMart’s quick-commerce platform, Globe and Grab Philippines are expanding digital access while simplifying the process of getting connected at home.
