Garmin has unveiled the Enduro 4, a solar-powered GPS smartwatch designed for ultra-endurance athletes, trail runners, hikers, and outdoor adventurers, with battery life of up to 320 hours in activity mode under specified solar-charging conditions.
The smartwatch combines a power-efficient 1.4-inch memory-in-pixel (MIP) display with a solar-charging lens, delivering up to 90 days of battery life in smartwatch mode under specified usage and sunlight conditions. Its comprehensive power modes let users balance tracking accuracy and battery performance during extended expeditions.
The Enduro 4 introduces grade-adjusted pace-based workout targets and rolling pace metrics to help athletes manage their effort on steep climbs and varied terrain. New stamina zones and a stamina curve also provide insights into endurance levels and performance changes over time.
For navigation, the device features built-in routable maps supported by an updated map engine, offering 30% faster map panning and a smoother interface. It also includes a perspective view to help users assess surrounding terrain and plan routes.
Garmin Epic, another new feature, allows users to combine activities recorded over days, weeks, or months into a single collection in the Garmin Connect app. Users can add photos, share their adventures, and review aggregated health and performance data.
Additional capabilities include enhanced indoor rowing metrics, expanded rucking tools for adjusting pack weight and setting calorie targets, more than 100 activity profiles, and 64GB of storage for maps, music, and other data.
Weighing 66 grams, the Enduro 4 features a 51mm case, a scratch-resistant Power Sapphire lens, a titanium bezel, and a fiber-reinforced polymer case. It also includes an integrated LED flashlight with white and red lighting, 10 ATM water resistance, and a moisture-wicking ComfortFit fabric band with QuickFit compatibility.
The Garmin Enduro 4 will be available in the Philippines starting November 3 at a retail price of PHP 56,290. It can be purchased through Garmin’s official website, Garmin Brand Stores, Garmin Specialty Stores, and official e-commerce platforms.
