Home Credit Philippines (HCPH) Chief Legal Officer Atty. Alicia Juliet “Alice” Salita has been recognized as In-house Legal Leader of the Year at the Legal 500 Southeast Asia Awards 2026, honoring her leadership in transforming the company’s legal operations through innovation, compliance, and digital modernization.
Organized by international legal research and ranking directory The Legal 500, the annual awards recognize outstanding achievements, operational excellence, and innovation among corporate legal teams and private practices across Southeast Asia.
As head of HCPH’s Legal, Compliance, and External Affairs (LCEA) department, Atty. Salita oversees Corporate Legal, Litigation, Compliance, and External Affairs functions. Under her leadership, the team has supported major acquisitions, strengthened regulatory strategies, and enhanced the company’s ability to manage evolving business and compliance requirements.
Atty. Salita has also led key digital transformation initiatives within HCPH’s legal operations, including the full digitization of legal workflows and the launch of a Digital Legal Library that organizes more than a decade of corporate contracts and regulatory records for improved accessibility and efficiency.

Beyond her role at Home Credit Philippines, Atty. Salita was re-elected in 2025 as President of the Legal Management Council of the Philippines (LMCP), where she works with legal institutions, including the Supreme Court of the Philippines, to advance specialized continuing education programs for corporate counsel.
The recognition underscores the growing role of legal technology, compliance innovation, and strategic corporate governance in supporting digital finance companies operating in a rapidly evolving regulatory environment.
