Huawei has unveiled the new HUAWEI Pura 90s Series in the Philippines, introducing its latest flagship smartphones focused on advanced mobile photography, artificial intelligence, and 5G connectivity.
Dubbed the “King of Imaging,” the new lineup includes the HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro and Pura 90s Pro Max, combining high-end camera hardware with AI-enhanced photography and editing features. The devices are now available for pre-order nationwide, with prices starting at ₱54,999.
At the center of the series is the Pura 90s Pro Max’s 200MP Ultra Large Sensor Telephoto Camera, featuring Huawei’s first 200MP RYYB sensor and a 1/1.28-inch sensor size. The camera system is designed to deliver detailed long-range photography, supported by CIPA 7.0 image stabilization for improved handheld zoom performance.
The flagship model also features a 50MP Ultra Lighting HDR Camera with a dynamic range of up to 16 EV, enabling improved highlight and shadow reproduction in challenging lighting conditions. Huawei’s second-generation True-to-Colour Camera technology further enhances color accuracy for more realistic images.
Beyond hardware, the Pura 90s Series integrates several AI-powered imaging tools. AI Composition provides real-time framing suggestions based on professional photography principles, while AI De-Glare removes reflections and glare from images with a single tap. The AI Move feature allows users to reposition, resize, duplicate, or transfer objects across photos while automatically adjusting lighting and shadows for natural-looking results.
The series also introduces Huawei’s “Rhythm of Colour” design philosophy, featuring premium finishes and gradient color options inspired by natural light and travel experiences.
On the connectivity front, the Pura 90s Series supports 5G, enhanced signal recovery, and cross-platform file sharing with iOS devices. It also includes the latest version of Celia AI, Huawei’s intelligent assistant capable of handling tasks such as reminders, calls, messaging, weather updates, and ride-hailing requests through voice commands.
Powering the devices is a 6,000mAh battery, with the Pura 90s Pro Max supporting 100W wired SuperCharge and 80W wireless charging, while the Pura 90s Pro supports 66W wired and 50W wireless charging.
The smartphones also feature Huawei’s AppGallery ecosystem, providing access to productivity, banking, ride-hailing, and social media applications commonly used in the Philippines.
