HUAWEI is set to launch the HUAWEI Pura 90s Series in the Philippines on August 20, 2026, introducing a flagship smartphone lineup focused on next-generation imaging, artificial intelligence (AI), 5G connectivity, and premium design.
Positioned as the new “King of Imaging,” the HUAWEI Pura 90s Series builds on the legacy of the Pura lineup, formerly known as the HUAWEI P Series, which has introduced mobile photography innovations such as advanced night photography, periscope telephoto cameras, and enhanced zoom capabilities.
Leading the series is the HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro Max, featuring a quad-camera system highlighted by a 200MP Ultra Large Sensor Telephoto Camera with a 1/1.28-inch sensor and RYYB sensor technology. The device supports up to 20x Telephoto Zoom and uses advanced image stabilization technology to deliver clearer long-range photos and smoother zoom videos.
The flagship model also includes a 50MP Ultra Lighting HDR Camera designed to capture more detail in high-contrast scenes, as well as an upgraded True-to-Colour Camera system for more accurate and natural-looking images.
The HUAWEI Pura 90s Series integrates AI-powered photography features to simplify creative editing and improve image quality. Its enhanced AI Composition provides real-time framing suggestions based on professional photography principles, while AI De-Glare removes reflections from glass surfaces and AI Move allows users to resize and reposition subjects within photos.
Beyond photography, the new smartphone lineup offers improved connectivity and performance with 5G support, enhanced signal reliability, and the updated Celia AI assistant for smarter everyday tasks, including voice commands, travel assistance, and productivity features.
For durability and battery performance, the HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro Max comes with Anti-Reflective Scratch-Resistant Kunlun Glass, a 6000mAh battery, 100W HUAWEI SuperCharge, and 60W Wireless HUAWEI SuperCharge.
The series introduces a new design approach through HUAWEI’s “Rhythm of Colour” philosophy, featuring gradient finishes and premium color options. The Pura 90s Pro Max is available in Orange Ocean, Blush Gold, and Graphite Black, while the Pura 90s Pro offers Guava Soda, Orange Soda, Coconut White, and Mulberry Black variants.
Ahead of the official launch, customers can reserve the HUAWEI Pura 90s Series through the HUAWEI Online Store from July 30 to August 7 with a ₱500 deposit, unlocking up to ₱4,000 in savings. The devices will officially be available in the Philippines starting August 20, 2026.
