Technese Legaltech Inc. has launched Intellegal, an AI-powered legal research and review platform designed specifically for Philippine legal professionals, offering advanced tools for case-law analysis, legal research, document review, and contract assessment.

Available through intellegal.ai, the platform combines multiple legal workflows into a single AI-assisted environment, enabling lawyers, law students, and corporate legal teams to access Philippine case law, statutes, legal analysis, and contract review tools more efficiently.

At the core of Intellegal are two primary research engines: Case-Law Analytics and Deep Synthesis. Case-Law Analytics integrates legal search, statutory matching, and case analysis into a unified workflow, while Deep Synthesis allows users to ask legal questions in natural language and receive structured research reports backed by source-traceable citations.

The platform emphasizes verifiable AI, ensuring that every legal citation can be traced back to its original source. According to Technese Legaltech, the system is designed to augment legal professionals rather than replace them, keeping final legal judgment in the hands of practitioners.

Intellegal also includes specialized tools such as Law Explorer for navigating statutes and regulations, Case Contrast for comparing legal decisions, Visual Digest for AI-generated legal document summaries, and Contract Review, which analyzes contracts against Philippine laws using a risk-based flagging system and redlined recommendations.

A Deep Synthesis report generated by Intellegal showcases AI-powered case-law analysis, with citations highlighted in blue that link directly to original legal sources. The feature enables legal professionals to verify authorities, trace references, and conduct more transparent and reliable legal research within a single workflow.

“Legal work demands both speed and precision. We want lawyers to ask questions in everyday language and quickly access relevant cases, laws, and analysis they can verify,” said Hazel Bascon, Co-Founder of Intellegal.

The company said the platform incorporates strong security measures, including encryption for data in transit and at rest, while maintaining confidentiality of user searches, uploaded documents, and legal analyses.

Intellegal’s Contract Review feature generates a redlined document with tracked changes, helping legal professionals identify potential risks and compliance issues more efficiently. Each recommendation is linked to its corresponding legal basis, providing transparent, source-backed guidance for contract review and revision.

As adoption of artificial intelligence expands across professional services, Intellegal aims to streamline legal research and document review while improving transparency and reliability in AI-assisted legal workflows for the Philippine legal sector.
