ManageEngine has unveiled Zia Agents, its new AI-powered autonomous agents designed to automate and orchestrate enterprise IT operations with minimal human intervention.

The rollout marks a major step in the company’s push toward fully autonomous IT environments, integrating AI-driven execution across IT service management, observability, endpoint management, and cybersecurity workflows.

According to Rajesh Ganesan, CEO of ManageEngine, the company focused on building purpose-driven AI tailored for enterprise IT rather than relying solely on general-purpose frontier AI models. The Zia Agents platform enables businesses to deploy prebuilt AI agents in a single click or create custom agents using natural language processing through the Zia Agent Studio.

One of the platform’s key innovations is multi-agent orchestration, where a master AI agent coordinates specialized subagents to handle complex workflows automatically. ManageEngine also emphasized data governance, stating that customer data is never used to train AI models and that administrators can define operational guardrails and audit AI activities through built-in observability tools.

The new AI agents are designed to support a wide range of enterprise use cases, including automated IT service desk operations, root cause analysis, cloud cost investigations, endpoint compliance monitoring, and cybersecurity threat response. In security operations, Zia Agents can automate alert correlation, user reviews, and investigations, significantly reducing manual workloads and improving response times.

ManageEngine added that its tools support the standard Model Context Protocol (MCP), enabling compatibility with third-party large language models and external agentic AI platforms.

The company also highlighted its long-standing privacy-first approach as a differentiator amid growing enterprise concerns around AI governance and data sovereignty.
