PLDT Global and Smart Communications are providing free connectivity services to Filipinos in Saudi Arabia to help them stay connected with their families and access essential information and government assistance amid the ongoing situation in the country.
Smart is offering eligible subscribers currently in Saudi Arabia a free 1GB roaming data package valid for five days. Subscribers can monitor their remaining data allocation through GigaRoam.
Meanwhile, PLDT Global is extending free calls through its Tindahan ni Bossing (TinBo) digital platform to key government hotlines, including the 1348 DMW-OWWA Helpline and the 1343 Actionline Against Human Trafficking. The service enables overseas Filipinos to seek assistance and guidance from relevant government agencies using their Smart Virtual Number.
PLDT Global is also opening free calls through the Smart Virtual Number to PLDT landlines and Philippine mobile numbers under Smart, TNT, and other local networks, helping Filipinos in Saudi Arabia maintain contact with their loved ones and support networks back home.
Customers who need assistance accessing TinBo’s free calling feature may reach the platform through Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp.
