Samsung expands AI-powered health tracking with the latest Galaxy Watch ecosystem
Samsung continues to push the evolution of wearable technology by transforming the smartwatch from a notification companion into an AI-powered wellness device designed to provide personalized health insights and coaching.
Since launching the Galaxy Gear in 2013, Samsung has steadily expanded the capabilities of its wearable devices. The introduction of the Galaxy Watch lineup in 2018 marked a shift toward comprehensive health and fitness tracking, adding features such as heart rate monitoring, GPS, sleep analysis, electrocardiogram (ECG), blood pressure monitoring, the BioActive Sensor, and integration with the Samsung Health platform.
The company’s wearable portfolio took another step forward with the Galaxy Watch Ultra, built for endurance athletes and outdoor enthusiasts while delivering advanced health monitoring and performance tracking.

Samsung’s latest innovation centers on Galaxy AI, which enhances the smartwatch’s ability to analyze health data and provide personalized recommendations instead of simply collecting information. AI-powered features such as Energy Score, Bedtime Guidance, Running Coach, and Antioxidant Index are designed to help users better understand their health, improve recovery, optimize sleep, and build healthier daily habits.
The newest additions to the lineup, including the Galaxy Watch8, Galaxy Watch8 Classic, and Galaxy Watch Ultra, continue Samsung’s vision of combining artificial intelligence with wearable technology to deliver more proactive and personalized wellness experiences.

Samsung showcased the next generation of its Galaxy ecosystem during Galaxy Unpacked, highlighting new AI-powered innovations across its devices as the company continues to expand the role of artificial intelligence in consumer electronics and digital health.
