TCL is bringing smart home technology closer to Filipino households through Labapalooza, a community activation that gives consumers hands-on access to its latest washer-dryer solutions.
Held in communities in Tacloban and Cainta in partnership with Robinsons Appliances, the activation featured a free pop-up laundromat where residents could use TCL washing machines while learning about their features and capabilities.
The centerpiece was TCL’s Smart Laundry Expert Washer-Dryer Series, showcasing how connected and automated laundry appliances can help simplify household routines, particularly during rainy weather when clothes can take longer to dry.
Beyond product demonstrations, Labapalooza used interactive activities to help consumers better understand smart laundry technology and how it can fit into everyday household needs.
TCL Philippines Product Director for Washing Machine and Refrigerator Gavin Gui said the initiative reflects the company’s goal of using innovation to simplify daily living while allowing consumers to experience its technology firsthand.
The activation also included a live auction of a TCL washer-dryer unit and a community initiative that saw TCL donate four high-efficiency washing machines to Tahanang Walang Hagdanan beneficiaries and One Cainta Sunset Retreat Home for the Elderly.
Now in its second year, Labapalooza highlights TCL’s approach to combining product education, smart home technology and community engagement while bringing its latest laundry solutions directly to consumers.
