BYD Cars Philippines has turned over eight electric vehicles (EVs) to the City Government of Muntinlupa, bringing electric mobility technology into local law enforcement operations.
All eight BYD Dolphin units have been assigned to the Muntinlupa Police Station for Philippine National Police (PNP) operations, including daily patrols and other law enforcement activities.
The deployment demonstrates how EV technology can be applied to public-service fleets, with electric vehicles offering lower maintenance requirements and eliminating conventional fuel costs. The move also supports Muntinlupa’s broader sustainability and green transport initiatives.
