TCL has launched the second batch of its technical training partnership with TESDA, enhancing its HVAC education initiative with longer training sessions, advanced technical lessons, and immersive hands-on experience for aspiring Filipino technicians.
Held at the TCL-TESDA Center inside the TESDA RTC-NCR facility, the three-day program trained 25 participants in the installation, repair, and maintenance of domestic refrigeration and air-conditioning systems. This year’s upgraded curriculum combines lecture-based learning with practical application to better prepare trainees for real-world industry demands.

According to Joseph Cernitchez, the expanded program reflects TCL’s commitment to developing Filipino talent and strengthening the country’s technical workforce through industry-standard training and employment opportunities.
The initiative also introduced learners to TCL’s smart technologies, including the TCL Home App and voice command features, equipping technicians with skills needed for servicing connected home appliances and modern HVAC systems.
The program was supported by TCL’s product and service teams alongside partner dealer Firstar, which also participated in learner profiling and a mini job fair aimed at identifying candidates for long-term employment opportunities.
Eugene P. Agcaoili highlighted the importance of public-private partnerships in improving workforce competitiveness and creating sustainable pathways for skills development in the Philippines.
Graduates received certifications validating their expertise in TCL technologies, helping connect them directly with authorized service centers and future career opportunities nationwide.
