Vertiv, a global provider of critical digital infrastructure, gathered more than 300 channel and distribution partners from across Asia at its 10th annual Asia Partner Summit, highlighting the growing opportunities created by artificial intelligence (AI), high-performance computing (HPC), and next-generation data center technologies.
Held in Desaru, Johor, Malaysia, the four-day event carried the theme “Metamorph,” reflecting the rapid transformation taking place across the data center industry as organizations scale AI deployments and increasingly demand high-density computing infrastructure.
The summit focused on helping partners capitalize on emerging opportunities in AI, edge computing, and digital infrastructure modernization. Discussions centered on the challenges enterprises face as they deploy compute-intensive workloads, including rising power consumption, cooling requirements, and the need for scalable, resilient infrastructure.
According to Vertiv, the event served as a strategic platform for aligning channel partners on regional growth opportunities, technology priorities, and AI infrastructure strategies. Sessions covered key topics such as sovereign AI, enterprise AI deployments, liquid cooling technologies, modular data center solutions, advanced power management systems, and intelligent infrastructure monitoring.
Daniel Sim, Senior Director for AI Ecosystem Alliances and Channel Partners at Vertiv Asia, emphasized the importance of collaboration as AI reshapes customer requirements across the region. He noted that channel partners play a critical role in helping organizations adopt AI-ready infrastructure and deliver business outcomes through technology innovation.
Participants also attended technical workshops focused on high-density computing environments, AI-ready power distribution, advanced thermal management, coolant distribution systems, scalable infrastructure designs, and intelligent monitoring platforms. The sessions aimed to equip partners with the expertise needed to support both new and retrofit data center projects.
A highlight of the event was a tour of Vertiv’s newly opened Johor manufacturing facility, providing partners with a firsthand look at the company’s regional production capabilities that support AI and digital infrastructure deployments across Asia.
The summit concluded with the Vertiv Asia Partner Recognition Awards, honoring outstanding achievements in sales performance, innovation, strategic partnerships, and market development.
Among the major award recipients were NVIDIA and Dell Technologies, which received Strategic Partnership Awards for their contributions to the ecosystem. Other award winners included partners from Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, and South Korea recognized for sales growth, leadership, and customer success.
The event underscores the increasing importance of partner ecosystems in supporting the rapid expansion of AI infrastructure across Asia as enterprises invest in data centers capable of powering the next generation of AI applications and services.
