Eastern Communications has completed its seven-part Launchpad series, bringing together business leaders, technology experts, and industry stakeholders to explore digital transformation priorities across major sectors of the Philippine economy.

The industry-focused initiative examined the evolving technology needs of IT-BPM, Supply Chain, Hospitality & Tourism, Public Sector, Banking & Finance, Healthcare, and Academe, providing a platform for organizations to discuss challenges, share best practices, and identify practical solutions for building more resilient and future-ready operations.

Conducted in collaboration with Cisco, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Sophos, Nexusguard, Huawei, and Colliers, the series highlighted the importance of collaboration in helping organizations address cybersecurity risks, operational challenges, and digital modernization efforts.

Across all seven sessions, cybersecurity emerged as a major concern as businesses continue expanding their digital ecosystems and facing more sophisticated cyber threats. Participants also emphasized the importance of operational resilience, business continuity, and technology investments that deliver measurable outcomes rather than adopting solutions solely for innovation purposes.

“Organizations today face increasingly complex challenges that require more than technology alone,” said Edsel Paglinawan, Chief Revenue & Innovation Officer at Eastern Communications. He emphasized the need for trusted technology partners that understand industry-specific requirements and help businesses develop solutions that support long-term growth.

Each sector identified unique digital transformation priorities. The IT-BPM industry highlighted the importance of secure hybrid work environments and reliable digital infrastructure to maintain global competitiveness. Hospitality and tourism organizations explored technologies that improve operational efficiency and enhance customer experiences.

The banking and finance sector focused on cybersecurity, digital trust, and regulatory compliance as financial services become increasingly digital. Healthcare organizations discussed the need for secure infrastructure to support connected care initiatives, while academic institutions examined how technology can enable safer and more engaging learning environments.

Jed Estanislao, Chief Marketing and Experience Officer at Eastern Communications, said the discussions helped identify the need for practical, scalable, and business-aligned solutions. He added that insights from the Launchpad series will help guide the company’s development of ICT services designed to support Philippine organizations.

With the conclusion of the series, Eastern Communications reaffirmed its commitment to helping businesses strengthen connectivity, security, and digital capabilities as industries continue adapting to rapid technological change.
