The vivo V80 Lite has set a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title after sustaining a continuous livestream for 32 hours and 37 minutes, putting the upcoming smartphone through an extended endurance test.
The record-setting livestream took place on August 11, 2026, in Chiang Mai, Thailand, earning the title of “The Longest Electronic Product Live Stream.” The device remained operational throughout the challenge without interruption.
Creators from Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines and Vietnam participated in the livestream, using the V80 Lite for activities including navigation, photography, gaming and calls alongside the extended broadcast.
The endurance test comes ahead of the smartphone’s Philippine launch, where vivo will introduce its 10,000mAh BlueVolt Battery—the largest battery capacity the company has offered globally.
The V80 Lite is scheduled to officially launch in the Philippines on October 4 at Market! Market! by Ayala Malls.
