Anker SOLIX, the clean energy and portable power solutions brand of Anker Innovations, has entered the Philippine market with solar energy storage systems designed to help households reduce electricity costs and improve power reliability.
The launch, made possible through a strategic partnership between electronics distributor and retailer NAVCO and solar energy solutions company GoPrime, comes as Filipino households face high electricity costs, grid reliability challenges, and weather-related power interruptions.
Anker SOLIX aims to make decentralized energy more accessible, targeting an estimated three-year payback period for a typical residential solar storage installation. Actual savings and payback periods will depend on installation costs, household energy consumption, system configuration, and electricity rates.

“The Philippines is uniquely positioned for this transition to decentralized energy because the need is not only environmental—it is economic and practical,” said Symons Xie, general manager of Anker SOLIX.
Three solutions for different household energy needs
The launch introduced three products designed to support home energy management, solar power generation, and portable electricity.
The SOLIX XE Hybrid is a whole-home energy solution that combines backup power with solar energy self-consumption. When paired with eight to 10 solar panels, the system is estimated to generate 7,440 to 9,300 kilowatt-hours (kWh) annually, based on Manila-area solar conditions. Using an assumed electricity rate of ₱14.50 per kWh, the company estimates potential annual electricity cost offsets of approximately ₱64,700 to ₱80,900.
The SolarBank 4 offers an entry point for households exploring solar energy. With four panels, estimated annual generation reaches 3,720 kWh, of which approximately 2,230 kWh could be consumed directly by the household. A six-panel configuration could generate around 5,580 kWh annually. Depending on the configuration, estimated annual electricity cost offsets range from ₱32,300 to ₱48,600.
For users who need portable power, the S2000 is designed for remote workers, travelers, outdoor activities, and smaller living spaces, providing a more flexible alternative to fixed home energy systems.
The energy generation and savings figures are estimates based on stated assumptions and may vary according to installation, weather, household usage, and system performance.
Nationwide expansion and local installation support
Anker SOLIX plans to expand its retail and e-commerce presence beyond Metro Manila into the Visayas and Mindanao. The company is also exploring installment financing partnerships and developing its engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) installer network to strengthen local installation and service capabilities.
Under the partnership, NAVCO will handle product importation, distribution, marketing, and retail development, while GoSolar will provide solar engineering, system design, installation, and technical support for applicable home energy systems.
“This launch is the beginning of a long-term commitment — we are here to grow with the market, expand our local presence and product portfolio, and help shape a Philippine energy future that is more resilient, more sustainable, and always on,” said Ryan Tan, president of the NAVCO Group.
Through its entry into the Philippines, Anker SOLIX aims to expand access to solar storage and portable power technologies as households explore alternatives for managing electricity costs and improving energy resilience.
