Converge ICT Solutions Inc. is strengthening its position as a technology partner for Philippine micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by expanding beyond broadband connectivity to offer cloud-based digital solutions and business platforms.

Speaking at the ATxEnterprise 2026 Conference, part of Asia Tech X Singapore (ATxSG), Converge Senior Vice President and Head of SME Group Dindo Marzan said MSMEs are increasingly demanding advanced digital tools to improve operations, productivity, and customer engagement.

According to Marzan, reliable fiber internet is no longer sufficient for businesses that now rely on cloud-based applications, customer relationship management systems, data analytics, and online sales platforms to remain competitive.

The shift aligns with Converge’s transformation from a telecommunications provider into a technology company, broadening its portfolio with digital services tailored for businesses. The company is partnering with third-party providers to offer workplace and HR solutions such as PapaPay HR Workplace, while also developing its own technologies, including a digital point-of-sale (POS) platform through its software development arm.

Converge highlighted its track record in technology innovation, including deploying the country’s first nationwide end-to-end pure fiber broadband network, upgrading its metro backbone infrastructure from 400G to 800G DWDM technology, and introducing the prepaid fiber service Surf2Sawa in 2023.

As artificial intelligence drives greater demand for secure and scalable data infrastructure, Converge is also advancing cloud-based services through Converge Cloud, with a focus on supporting data sovereignty and enabling Philippine businesses to accelerate their digital transformation.
