Converge ICT Solutions Inc. has received three recognitions at the 2026 HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia Awards, highlighting its employee engagement initiatives, workplace diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), and sustainability programs.
Held on October 6 at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Pasay City, the awards recognized Converge in three categories: Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2026, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and Sustainable Workplace.
As the fiber broadband provider transitions from a telecommunications company to a technology company, it is using HR technology and workplace innovations to improve employee experiences and build a more inclusive, engaged workforce.
According to Converge, its workplace performance was evaluated through an organization-wide employee survey and an audit conducted by HR Asia. The company scored strongly in equal opportunity, cultural ethics, and internal initiatives.
Its employee development programs include MentorSHE, a women’s mentorship initiative, and SPARK, a capability-building program for its sales teams. A training partnership with the University of the Philippines also supports employees in developing future-ready skills.
Converge’s sustainability efforts include modem refurbishment to promote resource circularity. The company reported an 89% reuse rate for recovered modem materials, up from 54% in 2023. It also reported that women account for 41.7% of its senior executives, reflecting its focus on gender representation.
“Our goal is to have a workplace where people can grow and do their best work, where different perspectives are valued and everyone has a place, and where we can create lasting impact for our people and our communities,” said Converge President and Co-Founder Grace Y. Uy.
The recognitions underscore how Converge is combining workplace initiatives, employee development, and sustainability practices as it advances its broader technology-driven business transformation.
