Eastern Communications is expanding its digital infrastructure and enterprise technology presence in Mindanao with a new Experience Center in Davao City and increased participation in regional ICT and business forums.
Launched on August 10, 2026, the company’s Experience Center at Damosa IT Park in Lanang, Davao City serves as a hub where businesses and communities can explore Eastern’s connectivity, digital transformation, and enterprise solutions.
The center is designed to give customers a firsthand look at how connectivity and digital technologies can support business operations and community development.
Eastern is also using regional industry events to engage with local governments and businesses on emerging technology needs. At the 18th NICP National ICT Summit 2026 in Tagum City, Chief Revenue and Innovation Officer Edsel Paglinawan discussed digital solutions for local governments, including reliable connectivity, cybersecurity, and smarter public services.
Meanwhile, at the 35th Mindanao Business Conference in Cagayan de Oro, Segment SME and Consumer Segment Marketing Head Suzel Lim outlined the company’s approach to supporting small and medium-sized enterprises through connectivity, technology solutions, and business support.
Eastern said these engagements help the company better understand the digital requirements of businesses and communities across Mindanao and develop solutions suited to local needs.
The company is also set to participate in the Mindanao ICT Conference (MindaCon) in Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur, from November 9 to 11. Discussions will cover cybersecurity, smart cities, digital jobs, digital governance, and innovation, with Eastern expected to share insights on strengthening digital infrastructure and cybersecurity resilience for enterprises and local governments.
Alongside its technology initiatives, Eastern recently extended assistance to families affected by the June 2026 earthquake in General Santos City and surrounding areas through a donation to the General Santos City Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
