Epson’s new A1+ UV flatbed printer combines high-quality custom printing with efficient, space-saving performance
Epson has expanded its professional printing portfolio with the launch of the SureColor V4000 (SC-V4000) UV flatbed printer, designed to help businesses produce customized merchandise, signage, display graphics, and photo-quality prints in-house.
The new printer joins Epson’s SureColor V-Series lineup and addresses growing demand for personalized products and short-run printing across Southeast Asia Pacific. It enables businesses to create customized items while reducing dependence on external production services and improving workflow efficiency.
Designed for commercial applications, the SC-V4000 supports A1+ print sizes and media thicknesses of up to 20 centimeters, allowing users to print directly on a wide range of rigid substrates, including phone cases, notebooks, and display materials. Its compact design provides larger-than-standard A1 printing capabilities while supporting businesses operating in space-constrained environments.
The printer features Epson’s 10-color UltraChrome UV ink technology, including grey, red, white, and varnish inks, delivering wider color reproduction, smoother gradients, and detailed output. The addition of white and varnish inks enables creative printing effects such as textured finishes, gloss highlights, and layered designs.
Built for productivity, the SC-V4000 delivers print speeds of up to 4.6 square meters per hour and allows multiple items or boards to be produced in a single run. Epson said the printer’s front-access design, simplified maintenance, and automatic media height adjustment help reduce setup time and improve operational efficiency.
