HONOR puts its latest foldable smartphone through the ultimate durability test, demonstrating strength engineered to go beyond everyday use.
HONOR Philippines is putting its upcoming HONOR Magic V6 foldable smartphone through a series of unusual durability demonstrations, including a controlled test in which the device was subjected to the pulling force of an aircraft weighing approximately one ton.
The aircraft-pull demonstration was designed to showcase the structural strength and engineering of the foldable smartphone under extreme force. HONOR also subjected the Magic V6 to a lat pulldown strength-training activation, turning the exercise into another unconventional durability test.
The device was further demonstrated in a swimming pool, highlighting its ability to withstand exposure to water and challenging environments. The demonstrations are part of HONOR’s effort to highlight durability alongside the design and performance expected from a flagship foldable device.
Beyond its durability claims, the HONOR Magic V6 is positioned as a premium smartphone featuring a large foldable display, flagship-level performance, AI capabilities, high-resolution cameras, and a high-capacity battery in a slim form factor.
HONOR said the Magic V6 is designed to push the boundaries of foldable smartphone engineering as the company prepares for its official Philippine launch.
