Enterprise IT management provider ManageEngine has announced a major architecture upgrade for Log360, introducing native Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) capabilities aimed at improving AI-driven cybersecurity operations.

The updated Log360 platform integrates threat detection, AI-powered investigation, and automated response into a unified data model, helping security operations centers (SOCs) streamline workflows and reduce manual intervention.

ManageEngine said the enhancement addresses a growing industry challenge where multiple disconnected security tools create fragmented alert systems and increase analyst workload. The company emphasized that effective AI-powered cybersecurity automation requires shared context and integrated infrastructure across security layers.

The upgraded platform now allows a single automated workflow to isolate compromised endpoints, revoke user sessions, enrich incidents with threat intelligence, generate service tickets, and notify SOC teams in real time.

Key additions to Log360 include prebuilt response playbooks delivered through a CDN-based library, low-code workflow customization via Zoho Qntrl, and advanced scripting support using Python and Deluge. The platform also expands cross-domain orchestration by integrating endpoint, identity, and cloud telemetry into one centralized response layer.

According to Manikandan Thangaraj, the goal is to eliminate operational friction between AI investigations and automated response systems by enabling both to operate within the same architectural framework.

The new SOAR capabilities are available exclusively in the Enterprise edition of Log360. ManageEngine is also offering a fully functional 30-day trial for organizations evaluating the platform.
