OPPO has officially launched the Reno16 Series 5G in the Philippines, positioning the new lineup as an AI-powered “Pocket Studio” designed for mobile content creators and social media users.
The Reno16 Series 5G combines advanced camera hardware with artificial intelligence-driven editing tools, enabling users to capture, edit, and share content directly from their smartphones. The lineup includes the OPPO Reno16 Pro 5G, Reno16 5G, and Reno16 F 5G, each equipped with multi-camera systems tailored for photography, videography, and content creation.
Leading the series, the Reno16 Pro 5G features a 200MP Ultra-Clear Main Camera alongside 50MP ultra-wide, telephoto portrait, and selfie cameras. Both the Reno16 Pro 5G and Reno16 5G support 4K 60fps video recording, while the Reno16 F 5G brings AI-enhanced imaging capabilities to a wider audience through its 50MP camera system.
A key highlight of the new series is its suite of AI-powered creative tools. Features such as AI Remix Collage, Motion Photo Popout 2.0, and POP Cam enable users to generate social media-ready content with minimal editing effort. These tools leverage AI to automate image enhancement, collage creation, and retro-inspired visual effects.
OPPO also introduced OPPO Bubble with Camera Remote View, a new feature that allows users to remotely preview and control the Reno16 camera from compatible OPPO devices and supported iPhones. The technology supports real-time framing, remote photo and video capture, zoom controls, and timer functions from up to 10 meters away, making it easier to capture group photos and collaborative content.
Beyond imaging, the Reno16 Series 5G runs on ColorOS 16 and includes productivity-focused AI features such as AI Mind Space, Study Assistant, O+ Connect with iOS Bridge, and Nano Second Smooth for improved cross-device connectivity and performance.
To celebrate the launch, OPPO is introducing the #FirstBarkadaBlend campaign through its OPPO Café Club experience from August 7 to 21. The initiative allows users to test the Reno16 Series 5G’s content creation capabilities at participating cafés while sharing their experiences online for a chance to win prizes.
The OPPO Reno16 Series 5G is now available for pre-order nationwide until August 20 through OPPO stores, online platforms, and partner telcos.
