Sophos has appointed Amy Chua as channels director for ASEAN and Korea, reinforcing the company’s channel-first strategy and expanding its focus on partner-driven cybersecurity growth across the region.
In her new role, Chua will lead Sophos’ regional partner strategy, overseeing channel execution, distributor relationships, sales governance, and scalable go-to-market initiatives aimed at strengthening the company’s cybersecurity ecosystem in ASEAN and Korea.
According to Chad Cleevely, the appointment highlights the strategic importance of ASEAN and Korea as key growth markets for Sophos, where partners play a critical role in delivering cybersecurity solutions and customer protection.
Chua will also focus on helping partners address increasingly complex cyber threats through AI-driven security technologies and data-led defense strategies, as organizations continue to face evolving ransomware, phishing, and cloud security risks.
Before joining Sophos, Chua held leadership positions at Google and Microsoft, where she gained extensive experience in sales strategy, channel development, and regional market expansion.
Sophos said the appointment strengthens its regional leadership team as the company continues to deepen partner engagement and scale its cybersecurity offerings through channel partnerships.
The move comes amid growing enterprise demand for AI-powered cybersecurity solutions and managed security services across Asia-Pacific markets.
