Converge ICT Solutions Inc. has expanded its customer service network in Eastern Visayas with the opening of its first two business centers in Leyte, bringing dedicated customer support and digital connectivity services closer to residents and businesses in Tacloban and Ormoc.

The new service hubs, operated through managed service provider Leytenet (Powered by Converge), are located in Brgy. 15, Tacloban City, and Brgy. Cogon Combado, Ormoc City.

Expanding digital access in Eastern Visayas

The new business centers provide local customers with access to services including internet applications, bills payment, technical support, plan upgrades and repair requests. Customers can also visit the locations for service inquiries and application processing.

Converge said the expansion responds to growing demand for reliable, high-speed connectivity as households, schools, businesses and government institutions in the region increasingly adopt digital technologies.

“Our new business centers in Leyte support the commitment of Converge to serve emerging markets where there is growing demand for reliable, high-speed internet,” said John Paul Aguilar, Converge SVP and Consumer Business Group OIC.

Leyte, the most populous province in Eastern Visayas, has more than 1.82 million residents, with Tacloban and Ormoc serving as important centers for commerce, education, government and entrepreneurship.

Supporting digital transformation

Converge said the new locations are also intended to support broader digital inclusion efforts in Eastern Visayas by making customer services more accessible and strengthening the company’s presence in underserved communities.

“Beyond expanding the company’s customer support network, the new customer support centers are expected to help drive digital transformation in the region,” said Bryan King Kay, Converge SVP and head of enablement.

The company is continuing to expand its network across the Visayas and Mindanao through new customer service locations and accelerated port rollouts in various provinces.
