EastWest Ageas has appointed insurance veteran Judith Baliton as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO), reinforcing the company’s commitment to operational excellence and enhanced customer experience amid the insurance industry’s digital transformation.

Baliton brings more than 40 years of experience spanning commercial operations, underwriting, claims, and new business. Prior to joining EastWest Ageas, she served as Vice President and Chief Underwriter at Manulife Philippines and later spent a decade as Chief Life Operations Officer at FWD Life Insurance.

In her new role, Baliton will lead initiatives to strengthen operational efficiency, promote cross-functional collaboration, and drive continuous improvement to better serve the evolving needs of policyholders.

“Insurance is about helping people protect themselves and their loved ones in the long run,” Baliton said. “I look forward to working alongside our teams to strengthen our operations, continuously improve the customer experience, and help more Filipinos secure their financial future.”

Her appointment comes as insurers continue investing in digital capabilities and streamlined operations to deliver faster, more customer-centric services. EastWest Ageas said Baliton’s extensive leadership experience will help the company build more efficient, high-performing operations while supporting its long-term growth strategy.
