Epson has expanded its industrial dye-sublimation printing portfolio with the launch of the SC-F20030, a high-production textile printer designed to help Southeast Asian businesses meet growing demand for faster, customized, and more sustainable digital textile manufacturing.

The launch comes as the region’s textile industry shifts toward digital production. According to the Epson-IDC report, Digital Textile Printing Trends in Southeast Asia, digital dye-sublimation printing can help print providers achieve revenue growth up to eight times faster than traditional screen printing while supporting high-demand markets such as sportswear, homewear, and footwear.

Built for high-volume textile operations, the 76-inch SC-F20030 features eight PrecisionCore MicroTFP printheads arranged in a horizontal overlapping configuration, doubling the printhead architecture of its predecessor, the SC-F11030. The system delivers printing speeds of up to 306 square meters per hour at 600 x 600 dpi, while maintaining consistent image quality across long production runs.

The printer uses Epson’s UltraChrome DS Ink and a 10-liter bulk ink supply system with hot swap functionality, allowing continuous printing even when an ink pack needs replacement. Its built-in drying system, dust-reduction technology, and optional jumbo roll support for media loads of up to 300kg are designed to improve uptime and reduce production interruptions.

The SC-F20030 also includes user self-repair features, enabling operators to replace selected components such as the printhead and anti-drying cap with assistance from printer diagnostics, helping reduce service downtime.

According to Epson Philippines, the new printer addresses the evolving needs of textile manufacturers requiring greater flexibility, faster turnaround times, and reliable output for increasingly complex digital workflows.

“With the SC-F20030, we are expanding Epson’s industrial dye-sublimation portfolio to better support businesses managing higher production demands, tighter turnaround expectations and more complex print workflows,” said Noelle Gonzalez, Head of Marketing, Epson Philippines.
