Honda Philippines Inc. (HPI) has officially started exporting its locally manufactured Click125 motorcycles to Cambodia and Laos, marking a major expansion of the company’s Southeast Asian operations.

The first shipment was dispatched to N.C.X. Co., Ltd, the exclusive manufacturer, distributor, and assembler of Honda motorcycles in Cambodia and Laos. The milestone underscores HPI’s growing role in Honda’s regional supply chain and its push to bring Philippine-made motorcycles to international markets.

A send-off ceremony held on May 15, 2026, gathered HPI executives, management members, and project leaders to celebrate the first export batch. Export containers and ready-for-shipment Click125 units were showcased during the event, highlighting the company’s expanding global manufacturing capabilities.

The Honda Click125 remains one of Honda’s top-selling motorcycle models in the Philippines, known for its fuel-efficient engine, rider-friendly features, and aggressive yet minimalist design tailored for daily commuting. Its popularity among Filipino riders positioned it as a strong candidate for expansion into neighboring Southeast Asian markets.

Takeshi Kobayashi, President of Honda Philippines Inc., said the export initiative reflects the company’s commitment to showcasing the quality of Philippine-made motorcycles while delivering reliable mobility solutions across the region.

The move also highlights the Philippines’ growing role in regional automotive and motorcycle manufacturing as companies increasingly tap local production facilities for export-driven operations.
