Samsung is expanding its wearable health technology lineup in the Philippines with the Galaxy Watch9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra2, combining advanced health sensors, fitness tracking and Samsung Health insights to help users better understand their daily wellness.
At the center of the new experience is Samsung’s BioActive Sensor, which collects health data that can be analyzed through Samsung Health. Features include Sleep Apnea monitoring, Vitals, Heart Health Score, Daily Cardio Load and Fitness Index, giving users insights into sleep, cardiovascular wellness, training and recovery.
The lineup also introduces a Hearing feature designed to help users monitor potentially unsafe noise exposure through alerts and reports.
Galaxy Watch9 targets everyday wellness
The Galaxy Watch9 is designed for continuous health tracking while maintaining a lightweight form factor. It is powered by the Snapdragon Wear Elite platform, with the 40mm model featuring a 390mAh battery and the 44mm version a 445mAh battery.
Both models feature displays capable of reaching up to 3,000 nits, helping maintain visibility in bright outdoor conditions.
The Galaxy Watch9 is available in 40mm and 44mm sizes, with prices starting at ₱22,990 and ₱24,990, respectively. LTE models start at ₱25,990 for the 40mm version and ₱27,990 for the 44mm model.
Ultra2 targets outdoor adventures
The Galaxy Watch Ultra2 is positioned for more demanding activities, adding features such as Trail Run, which tracks elevation, climbing progress and terrain impact, and Nutrition Alert, which provides hydration guidance based on estimated sweat loss.
For water activities, the watch carries 10ATM, IP69K and EN13319 certifications and can automatically track diving information including depth, duration and water temperature.
It also features an 800mAh battery, a display reaching up to 5,000 nits, and a shock-resistant titanium casing. The Galaxy Watch Ultra2 is available in 47mm Titanium Silver and Titanium Gray, starting at ₱44,990.
Both smartwatch models are available through Samsung Authorized Stores, Samsung’s Philippine website and participating online retailers. Samsung is also offering launch promotions, including savings of up to 15% and selected 0% installment plans.
