TCL Electronics has officially entered the Philippine monitor market, unveiling its latest display lineup at Circuit Base’s flagship store in Quezon City. The move signals the brand’s expansion beyond TVs and appliances into productivity and gaming-focused display solutions.

The launch highlights TCL’s strategy to leverage its in-house panel manufacturing capabilities—an advantage that allows tighter control over display quality, color accuracy, and performance. By vertically integrating production, TCL aims to deliver high-spec monitors at more accessible price points for Filipino consumers.

According to TCL Brand Manager Joseph Cernitchez, the new lineup aligns with the company’s vision of making advanced technology more accessible. The monitors are designed to cater to both professional workloads and immersive entertainment, reflecting the growing demand for hybrid work-and-play setups.

At the event, Oriana Jiang emphasized that TCL’s control over panel production differentiates it from competitors that rely on third-party suppliers. This approach ensures consistent display performance while maintaining competitive pricing in a crowded market.

Technically, the TCL Monitor line is positioned for both productivity and gaming use. Key features include a 144Hz native refresh rate for smoother visuals, precise dimming for improved contrast, and a 93% DCI-P3 color gamut for accurate and vibrant colors. With peak brightness reaching 450 nits, the displays are built for clarity across different lighting environments.

To address long-term usability, the monitors are also certified by TÜV Rheinland for flicker-free and low blue light performance, supporting eye comfort during extended use—an increasingly important factor for remote workers and gamers alike.

The launch event, hosted in partnership with Circuit Base, underscores TCL’s push to capture a share of the growing Philippine monitor segment. As demand rises for versatile displays that support both productivity and entertainment, TCL’s entry introduces new competition centered on performance, affordability, and vertically integrated innovation.
