AIA Philippines and BPI AIA Life Assurance Corporation (BPI AIA) have introduced new multi-claim critical illness insurance products while expanding their social impact through a partnership with the Kythe Foundation, supporting children battling cancer and chronic illnesses.

The newly launched AIA Critical Protect Plus and BPI AIA MultiCare Protect are designed to address rising healthcare costs and the growing demand for more comprehensive health coverage. Unlike traditional plans, the products allow policyholders to claim benefits for up to three major critical illnesses, including coverage for early-stage conditions, flexible protection options, and insurance coverage that can extend up to age 100.
To mark the launch, AIA Philippines and BPI AIA will donate to the Kythe Foundation on behalf of every customer who purchases either insurance product, at no additional cost to policyholders.
The donations will fund programs that provide medical and psychosocial support for children with cancer, including therapeutic play, caregiver assistance, emergency financial aid, patient navigation, and child-friendly treatment spaces at the National Children’s Hospital and Philippine Children’s Medical Center.
Melissa Henson, Chief Marketing Officer of AIA Philippines, said the initiative reflects the company’s purpose of helping people live healthier, longer, and better lives while extending support to vulnerable communities.
Founded in 1992, the Kythe Foundation pioneered Child Life Services in the Philippines, providing psychosocial care and family-centered support to pediatric patients throughout their treatment journey.
Through the partnership, AIA Philippines and BPI AIA aim to combine financial protection with meaningful community impact by supporting both policyholders and Filipino families facing critical health challenges.
